  1. Volume is an extensive physical property. It is also isotropic

(An intensive property does not depend on the size or amount of matter in the object, while an extensive property does. An isotropic property is one that is the same regardless of the direction in which it is measured)

  2. physical property: see the list:

physical change, it's still the same 'gas' for example:

    good q

  3. It is a physical property. Changing the volume is a physical change. This is because you can alter the volume (amount of space the matter takes up) w.o changing the chemical properties of the substance.

1L of water and 1.5L of water have the same chemical properties, but if you burn paper you get ash. Ash and paper have different chemical properties.

  4. Volume is a physical unit of measure: mL, cm^3, cu ft, etc
