Wake boarding is a type of water sport, where you are strapped on to a board, somewhat like a snowboard but shorter and wider, and you are towed behind a speedboat, whereupon you ride the wake of the boat. Usually done on a lake, not in the ocean.

you are pulled behind a boat. you  have a board kind of like a snowboard it has booties for you to stick your feet in. the boat pulls you when you get up you turn to your side and ride behinde the boat after you get use to it you can go over the wake from the boat and do tricks .
