  1. It's not a water sport, that's for sure. It's an interrogation technique widely regarded as torture that the CIA has deemed fit for use here lately where it simulates drowning the person being questioned. It's shameful.

  3. The actual name for is is wakeboarding. It is an intense sport where you are towed behind a boat, riding a board, and tricks are performed by jumping over the wake, or wave created by the boat. If you are interested in buying equipment, i highly advise trying it before you buy it, and wear a crash helmet. headaches occur after faceplants...tag some tylenol along as well...happy boating

  5. It's a form of torture. They tie you down (to a board) and pour water over your face (which may be covered in a cloth), which forces you to inhale water, and give you the impression you're going to drown.

    Is anything that causes physical discomfort for the purpose of extracting information torture? Yes.

    Is it immoral or unethical if it prevents terrorism and saves lives? No.
