  1. A singular water molecule consists of two hydrogen atoms polar covalently bonded to a central oxygen atom.  Each molecule will be hydrogen bound to neighboring water molecules.

Drinking water can have many other chemicals in it that makes it impure (not only just H2O).  this includes Magnesium, Chloride, Sodium and in some countries (like New Zealand) Fluride is added to drinking water before it comes out of the tap.

Water is a necessary part of our diet as it is needed in digestion, immune system, blood circulation etc.  We loose about 1.5 Liters a day through urine and a lot as we do physical activities via sweat and we even loose water as water vapor as we breath.  Taking this into account, the average man needs 3.7 L per day but when food and metabolism is entered into the equation we only need to drink around two liters of fluids a day to keep up with our body.

Drinkable water on earth is in very short supply, the majority of water on earth is salt water in the seas.  This leaves us humans with a teeny 3% of fresh water available for utilisation.  This supply is very quickly becoming used up.  Water salvation is one of the reasons some people become vegetarian, it only uses a fraction of the water to make a vegetarian meal in comparison to a steak or hamburger.

Broad question, hope you find what you were asking for =)

  2. Two hydrogen atoms bonded with one oxygen atom.  Dihydromonoxide.  It has an incredibly strong bond because it has all three of forms of attractive forces:

    Hydrogen bonds

    Static bonds

    Polar bonds

you drink it, swim in it, shower with it, bathe in it, make water balloons with it, skate on it,  you give it to your dogs... what do you want from me?
