What is weather like around Purdue University?

Question

Just average weather.

Does winter last long? Does summer? Does it get really hot in summer/really cold in winter.

Just basic stuff to give me an overview of what kind of weather I could expect there.

Hot, humid summers and cold, snowy and icy winters, and distinct autumns with turning leaves and weather going from cool to quite crisp, and springs going from cool to warm. Basically, all four seasons, roughly three months each, and a very different wardrobe needed for summer and winter. Typical American Midwest, in other words.

You have 4 seasons.  The fall is awesome, the winter is a midwest winter (Temps don't usually get to far below zero), the spring is nice, and the summers can get into the 90's.

Rain is mostly in the spring.

Great university...challenging and fun.
