What is wheelchair access like in majorca spain?

  1. Afraid I can't give you a direct answer on Mallorca itself.

    But on general terms Spain has become very concientious and accomodating to the handicapped.

    Most streets now have sidewalk edges lowered to ease wheelchair access, as do most public buildings, where ramps have been installed beside the normal staircases.  There are also acoustic crosswalk signs included in the main stop lights to simplify these for the blind.

    And certain larger cities, such as Madrid and Barcelona,  have wheelchair friendly public transportation.

    All these urban improvements have taken place during the last decade.
