White light is in a very narrow band of visible light within a larger spectrum of light ranging from infrared to ultraviolet.

It has a lot to do with wavelengths.

the white light is the ordinary light coming from the sun. it is composed of seven spectrum colours

(red, orange,yellow,green,blue,indigo,violet)

i study them by the word ((ROY G BIV))

the red colour has the lowest frequency while the violet light has the graetest frequency and the highest energy.
