I have always wondered whats make wind, where does it come from. Most people say that it comes from trees, if you think about it, wind makes the trees move, so it cannot be from the trees. i dont know I am just kinda curious.

  1. The sun makes wind by unevenly heating the earth creating differences in air pressure(the higher gos to the lower)

  2. Wind is natures way of moving air from areas of relatively high pressure to areas of relatively low pressure.  Nature is always trying to restore balance in things, and as air is heated and/or cooled by differing amounts for various reasons, this in turn causes air pressure to vary over a distance.  Wind is how this pressure variance is being restored into balance.  The larger the air pressure difference over a given distance, the stronger the wind.
