  1. No you don't, at least not from here, instead you need to do YOUR OWN d**n HOMEWORK.

  2. Where I live, windmills are very controversial. People are against them because they feel it changes the way the landscape looks and because sometimes birds can get caught in the blades and get killed. I personally think they are esthetic to look at and that there are many other greater dangers to the bird population than that posed by windmills.

  3. If there is no wind you're screwed.

  4. Wind power is generated in the form of electricity by converting the rotation of turbine blades into electrical current by means of an electrical generator.

Wind power consumes no fuel for continuing operation.

Wind energy is ample, renewable, widely distributed, clean, and reduces toxic atmospheric and greenhouse gas emissions if used to replace fossil-fuel-derived electricity.

An estimated 1% to 3% of energy from the Sun.

Can be used for Household generation.

Because it uses energy already present in the atmosphere, and can displace fossil-fuel generated electricity (with its accompanying carbon dioxide emissions), wind power mitigates global warming.

Some onshore and near-shore windmills kill birds, especially birds of prey.

Some residents near onshore and near-shore windmills complain of "shadow flicker," which is the alternating pattern of sun and shade caused by a rotating windmill casting a shadow over residences.

  5. - Requires no other energy source ie. Nuclear or Heat turbine

    - Wind pushes blades around which pushes turbine

    - produces only a small amount which is why you see more than one suppling to a region

    - if there is no wind there is no movement

    - environmentaly friendly
