What is going on in society?

No one cares any more about relationships or marriage. I believe more then half of society has been married more then once, divorced, or has a live in girl/boy friend with kids, or someone else's kids, or baby daddy's, or baby mama's that don't even plan on getting married. There is no more respect in relationships or marriages; unless your my grandparents age. The word"Love", these days doesn't have any meaning its just a word that is thrown around, it is no longer a feeling of happiness or emotions, it's basically here we go again another relationship because, of the thought of being a lone . An it's also the s*x. Guys they tend to be more sexually aroused ok lets just say Horny an well they cant keep it in their pants ok i'm not saying all but MOST they cant be with just one female, Females are to blame to, not all us girls are innocent lol........................

Honestly, I think society has taken s*x from a level of being the most intimate a person can be with another person, to a level of being something you do just for the heck of it.  More of a recreational thing, rather than a bonding of 2 people.  When you look at s*x in that way, it actually becomes quite easy to cheat on someone you "love" because s*x to you isn't that big of a deal.  I've even seen some of these people try to rationalize their behavior with something like "It was just a ********--it's not like we had s*x or anything."  And they're dead serious too.  The more people demean s*x, and make it less important than it really is, the more people are going to cheat and think it's really not that big of a deal.  That's my opinion anyway, for what its worth.

It's a total of lack of respect of who your with getting to comfortable with the person your with .Thinking no matter what you do and who you do even if your other half finds out they will still be there no matter what.

People actually believe this they think they can cheat and when they get caught say I'm sorry, and I love you, and I only want to be with you, and I messed up it won't happen again I swear. In someway they think they will be able to talk their way back into the marriage or relationship.

Lack of respect and taking for granted your partner is seriously wrong but many people do it.

escapism - people live longer and have a high enough disposable income that they no longer have to focus on mere survival - so they require increasing amounts of stimulation to remain satisfied with thier lives. plus, this society seems to encourage self-serving behavior and extended adolescence, so it is easier to rationalize cheating.
