  1. its because of those d**n foreign countries. because were killing their people. thats why. and every one will walk every where eventually if they don't go down

  2. Let's see . . . . .the events in the Middle East and South America, Katrina and other horrific weather events in the Gulf of Mexico, increased demand world-wide especially in China and India, a failed energy policy, decreases in fuel economy . . . and it's only going to get worse.  I am voting in my community for a small tax increase designed to expand public transportation.  I've relied on the bus before and I can do it again.  My husband and I will be car pooling and we might even buy bicycles to ride to work.  This is not a disaster but an opportunity.

  3. STARTED  with  Bush adminstration. This is  whats  happens  when a  president  owns  Exxon Mobile  Corp  where  90 % gas is  made  Did  you vote  for  him,  I didnt.       *mamatx

  4. then you dont drive. take public transportation. or buy an all electric car.

  5. Its totally inflation....right now the economy is hurting a lil so they have to find a way to make money we need more incoming revenue

  6. Supply and demand. It is a commodity like wheat, corn, or rice. It has been many years since it has been $1.00 a gallon. When it was a $1.00 wages were $8.00, instead of $40.00. It's all relative....

  7. It's speculation and greed.  We actually have an oil surplus.  We pay because we have to, and the system is too slow to catch it.
