What is with the letters from the school nurse!?

Okay, so every year the school nurse takes my height and weight. And every single year I get the same letter sent from her. It's this stupid letter that warns my parents that I am morbidly obese and need to seek medical help. But, if you look at me, I clearly appear to be a healthy, teenage junior body builder. I'm 5'5 about 165 pounds. What is with these letters home and why can't they just use common sense to know I'm not obese?!?!?!

  1. Most likely it is a mass letter. She writes all the stuff down and anyone that doesn't fit in the "standard" height/weight chart gets a letter.

  2. 9% Bmi you mean body fat thats good man.She would consider me as obese too i am 5.7,180lbs.Last time i checked with my doctor at 155lbs,10% bf and he told me i need to lose weight and he was a fcking fat *** like 5.10 and 220lbs may be like 28% bf or more. These ******* nerd geek doctors and nurse have no sense of what bf really is.

  3. I assume you are male.  My suggestion would be to go ahead and see your doctor and have him evaluate you.  If in fact your 165 lbs is due to muscle mass, he will give you a clean report that you can take to the school nurse and politely shove it in her face.  If, however, your doctor feels you need to lose weight, he will discuss it with you and your parents so that you can get yourself on a better diet and exercise regimen.  Since you have not provided us with a photo, it is hard for us to be able to tell if in fact you look obese or if you are clearly a bodybuilder.

If you are a female then yes, you are morbidly obese for your height.
