  1. Federal work study is money given by the federal government to your college or university. The school uses this money to fund the payroll for "work study jobs" Usually these are located on campus, sometimes at local non-profits or public schools.

    Only students that qualified for "work study"  on their financial aid offer are eligible for these jobs as paid positions. It is not money you have to pay back, but you do have to earn it. You can be fired from work study jobs.


  2. workstudy is when the government gives the school a certain amount of money for you... you have to accept it to use it though! the only downfall is that you can't unaccept it!
