It can be your experience or a friend's experience.

This will be my first job. I don't want to work at McDonald's or typical fast food b/c of all the horror stories I've heard/read.

is jimmy john's any better? They're paying more than minimum wage which is why I'm considering them.

Thanks! :)

  1. This is so weird, I was thinking about working at my city's local Jimmy Johns. Unfortunately, I can't answer your question, but just be mindful that there are always going to be things at work that p**s you off or make you wanna quit. My first job was a very eye-opening experience because when they told me I was hired, I was just thinking about how much money I would be making and I never even thought about how much work I would have to do and how much stuff I would have to learn. In my opinion, training is the most stressful part of any job because they teach you stuff for about 3 or 4 days and then they throw you in your work station by yourself (most of the time). It's overwhelming at times and you'll probably mess some orders up and whatnot, but it'll be okay. Just remember not to quit because you think you're messing up.

If I were you, I would go for it.
