What is worse car pollution or 2nd hand smoke?

I've never driven and have always hated cars and pollution, however I do smoke, should I quit and buy a car?

Having been in a warehouse when all the trucks start their diesel engines first thing in the morning - engine fumes are worse than cigarette smoke. I try to avoid both. Especially diesel fumes! But I'm pleased to say I'm now in my 4Th year as a non smoker and £10,000 better off having given it up! Food tastes better too. I spend more money on air fresheners though - I can smell the unpleasant smells around the home now.

Car Pollution is far worse. But even so, You should still quit Smoking. I did, nearly 18 Years ago, and to this Day, I still want a Cigarette !

You should quit smoking for your own health as well as others.

Cars do not pollute much - if you use the right techology -

polution from infernal combustion is a major killer and stressor, as identified by the cheif scientific advisor

not just the gasses & particulates, but noise, oil explortion & processing, off-gassing benzines from petrol pumps ...

electric vehicles are quiet, smell free, smooth

efficient, refuel at home or work from renewabel energy

much more enjoyable drive. also much cheaper to run, £0 road tax & congestion charge, free parking & re-charging in cities like Westminster.

eg tesla 0-60 in 4 seconds 250 miles per charge, made by Lotus Norfolk UK, www.teslamotors.com. or the Phoenix 5 seater 90mph SUT that can be recharged in 10 minutes.

(but the oil co's have learnt from the tobacco industry about how to confuse the issues and keep the story out of any public awarness; at least untill the demand for oil exceeds supply in a few years)

I got news, cows are worse than both, but try this for a thought imagin what it was like when the dinos were around , an 80 ton beast ate  a lot of grass , the result must have been like rocket fuel , im sure some must have blown up

That depends.  Do you intend to stick your head into the exhaust pipe?  If so, 2nd hand smoke may be safer.
