What is wrong with Amy's grandma on the Secret Life of the American Teenager?

I am watching it and the grandma, Mimzy, was saying that Amy should keep the baby. Then she said it will be very tiny, and that Amy's mom was only 3 pounds. Her mom says, no I was 7 pounds 3 ounces. And then Mimzy opens a silverware drawer and says the baby can stay here for the first year and then we can find something bigger like a dresser drawer. Is she senile?

yeah, i was so confused. i was like what the heck is she doing?? a silverware drawer???? omg. well she does have Alzheimer's but how can you blame that on putting a baby in a drawer?

Umm I dont think its Alzimhers because when she first got there she would have forgot like 3 mintutes she forgets. Did she forget the baby no so she does not have it I think she probley has a disease where she think something is so small when its not
