What is wrong with Carlos Zambrano?

Question

I heard he had some shoulder pain today and couldn't start against the Phillies. I was hoping he could beat the Phillies today.

ANYWAY............Could his arm tiredness affect the Cubs?

probably not the cubs are really good and zambrano obiously doesnt even play everyday, and the cubs have a good pitching rotation.

Yeah Cause Zambrano Is The Star In Their Rotation, Harden Always Gets Knocked Out To Early, and Ted Lily Is No Star,

so yeah it could affect the cubs.

Carlos Zambrano did not make his scheduled Sunday start and has been pushed back to start on Tues night, because he's going through a "dead arm" phase.   It's a precautionary measure more than anything. Through Sunday, the Cubs have a 4 1/2-game edge over the Brewers in the National League Central.   The coaches are hoping that resting their starting pitchers an extra day or two will pay dividends in Sept-Oct (as we push closer to the playoffs).
