What is wrong with Cell Phone Makers? Seriously?

How come every cell phone I own when the battery gets low I get a constant beep every few seconds telling me my battery is low. DOESN'T THAT DRAIN MY FREAKING BATTERY FASTER? Sheesh, all you need to do is pop up a message telling you and once it is confirmed you know then the beeping can stop.

yea dude, its not that big of a deal? it wouldnt waste that much battery anyways

The amount of power needed to create that beep is minuscule compared to what generating a screen requires.  And what happens if you MISS that pop-up while the phone is in your pocket for a few hours?  Lots of people will, because not everybody sits around staring at their phone all day long.  Things are made audible for a reason.

You should always have a seperate CHARGED battery ready. (Unless you have an Iphone, in which case, you CANNOT replace the battery..!!) BTW..I get no beep on my cell phone.....
