What is wrong with Yahoo's message boards? They are slow to open or do not open at all.?

I know it is not my computer's connection or my settings for Yahoo causing the problems with the message boards.

i have the same problem, especially in the news message boards,  maybe the system is overloaded at certain times...I also read somewhere that the new messenger 8.0 has some bugs to work out and it may be causing yahoo to slow down.  sure hope something gets fixed...so, no,  it's not your computer,  it's  yahoo's  problem..
