  1. There is no such thing, look up "Community Organizer" in the Chicago Yellow pages!

Now look up Acorn, (hint) it's at  2839 W Diversy, does that tell you something...

  2. Nothing.  I was a community organizer for 2yrs after college and it was an extremely tough job.

In the end I think I learned how to talk to people and how to listen and understand their needs. That is a quality a president needs. I left to get my MSW.  I don't think I would be the successful social worker I am now without that experience.

There are a lot of hardworking community organizers out there doing a lot of good in our communities.

Also Obama only did this for  2yrs.  She forgot to mention he was also a civil rights attorney, law professor, state senator and US senator.

  3. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Its a great line of work. Not suitable for presidency, but, if that is the direction your going, you might want to add more to the resume.

  4. I'm wondering the same thing.

I think Republicans are confused as to why you should help people for free.

  5. NOTHING!

Its your life( or Obama's), make the best of it.

The Republicans must see that they need Community organizers to get out the vote.

  6. Nothing at all.

The point the GOP is making is that it isn't a very good job for proving your qualifications to be President of the US.

    That's all.

Obama is including his experience as a community organizer as a reason you should vote for him, but at the same time he discounts Palin's experience as a Mayor.

Sorry, but Mayor of a small town is more difficult than community organizer.  (For one thing, "community organizer" is not even a well-defined position.  How on earth can anyone take that as a serious qualification to serve as the President?)

  7. Nothing, and it shows he's been in contact with the less fortunate.

  8. Nothing is wrong with it, as long as you don't try to say that having been a CO means that you have more experience than a mayor or a governor.

  9. If you're a republican... it's the one thing you HAVE to target, when your issues suck.

And yeah McCain has all this experience, and I respect him for the POW. But a guy with this much experiece should not side with Bush. Come on, have you not learned anything?

  10. There is nothing wrong with it. Using it as a qualification to be president is wrong.

  11. The real question should be. What is wrong with being ONLY a community organizer when running for president?

Thats like saying, "Hey! I use to pump gas, now I want to be the president at Exxon.

  12. Nothing. There is a problem with saying that being a community organizer is just like being mayor.
