What is wrong with google ? ?

When I use ( like compose a message ) my Gmail, I get an error message and IE always wants to close up windows. Its a real pain in the ***.

You did not mention the error message, so i cant guess what is the problem. Try Firefox or Opera and see the problem is there or not.

Try using Firefox or Opera.  IE tends to have a lot of problems with a lot of websites.
