What is wrong with justine henin? pulled out of rome, lost to safina in berlin.. could she be melting down?

so this will mean she will have no preparation for the french open...... and its unlikely she will pull up her game to win.... what could be wrong with her?

nothing wrong with her except she has no confidence at the moment...and shes past her prime so we should expect these things happening to her...

I was reading about the issue of Justine Henin withdrawing from the Rome tournament.  In the article it states that she was saying that she was fatigued.

I also know that she had problems with a virus for several months last year so am wondering if some of that is becoming an issue again.

Lack of confidence.  I think losing 6-4, 6-0 to Sharapova in Melbourne and 6-2,6-0 to Serena in Miami have planted the seeds of doubt in her mind.

It seems to be a growing trend for number 1 players to start losing... First Roger, then Tiger, Justine is but merely another victim of this strange phenomenon

Ya, Justine hasn't looked quite the same since her exit from the Australian in the quarter finals!

I think the players notice this.  In fact, I think Safina even mentioned that in an interview, that she noticed Justine's confidence considerably lower than in previous years.

I DOUBT it has anything to do with Justine being "past her prime".  She just needs to build up her confidence again...a task easier said than done!

lack of confidence....she's been dealing with an injury....and  i think it might have something to do with all the tennis she played in 06 and 07 seasons. it seems to all have crept upon her.

Tennis players are human and they will have their off days. I don't think that she will take a 4th French in a row however !!!!!
