Ok, so please don't laugh or give smart answers. I am 26 years old and i have 3 kids. Recently my husband started working out of town some and i feel like a child when he leaves. I am afraid of being at my own house alone. I mean the kids are here in the bed but it's like i'm afraid of the dark or something. I can't sleep when he's gone and it's like i hear every little noise. I think i'm nuts! Why am i doing this? I am a grown woman for the love of Moses! Help me!

  1. AHahaha that's funny. Panick attack ? Parnoia? I had this once. Every little shadow looks like its someone out to get me. And this was when i was 15. That night i was really paranoid. The sound of my mum's and brothers breathing scared me like h**l! Maybe its stems from insecurity or the aftermath of watching scary movies too much?

  2. You need to get comfortable in your own house.  Do you have a security alarm?  Do you lock all the doors and windows properly?  If you have done these things, than you are safe, and anything after that is your imagination.  Security companies put alarms on the windows, etc.  That if one is budged, and the contact is broken, the alarm goes off. You won't be able to sleep through that.  You need confidence too.

If you don't have a security company, you can order one of those cheapy alarms off the internet that go off when contact is broken.  They are $10 each and work perfectly.

  3. I feel that way sometimes too, it helps me when I turn on the TV and/ or radio to give me company... Hope it helps ;)

  4. Maybe you should take some kind of classes that will allow you to feel better about being the protector of the family..karate maybe?

  5. make yourself busy with your children; your house neatness and make plan/s of what will you do when your husband come from his work.

    may this will help...
