  1. You might have ADD.  in games there is so much adrenalin that focussing is much easier, but in practice when you're the only girl trying to prove herself on a boys team stress is going to get to you and your mind is going to wonder.

  2. Simple: you are not that serious about the game, no biggie. Don't kick yourself about it, just have fun at games and s***w the practice. I was very much the same way, and I played all the way until University Hockey. I hate practice it is sooooooo boring. Games are so much more exciting.

    You're not alone.

  3. It seems like you need to take control around the net. You can see everything in front of you so by telling players where they need to go in oreder to stop the opposition from scoring. By doing this you are more aware of whats happening in the game.

  4. mann, same here, i do good in games but sometimes i feel off in practices, you just have to think about your job on the team and try your best to fulfill that job, you dont want to let your team down!

  5. I am serious, try yoga or seeing a therapist, you may need to clear your mind, or try to get more sleep,

  6. maybe its bc the guys r telling u that and it cood b stressing u out. just a suggestion

kind of like peer presure. but in sports

  7. honestly maybe itsa short attention span.  Maybe if you get checked out you can get ritalin or some other drug that will help you focus

  8. You just don't have focus. It's a mental thing. You have to learn how to focus. Powerful upbeat music helps focus a lot I find. I would just listen to music and such before a practice the same way you might to get hyped for a game.

Of course, it is only a practice. Tell them to lay off a bit and let you try and focus.
