What is wrong with my 15" Audiobahn Sub?

Question

500 watt, duel voice coil, gives out bass but does not "bump", the cone does not move like a normal sub?

Maybe its not wired properly.  I would check there first.   Just make sure all the proper wiring is there.  Beyond that I truly don't know because if the driver was broken then no bass at all would be produced.  Our if the magent was broken then no bass of course.  Perhaps one of the resident experts would know.

those subs are not even meant to move alot, they are mainly done for looks and not performance.

but i would recheck the wiring on the voice coils. if the final ohm load is stable with the amp.. then check how many watts the amp will be throwing at the subwoofer.

obviously, if the rms is too low, its not going to move alot and will not sound loud.
