  1. I doubt there is anything serious wrong as both of my kids did the exact same thing.  My son is 6 months old but by the age of 6 weeks old he was sleeping at least 10 hours straight every night but around 4 1/2 months he started waking up quite a few times a night.  My daughter who is almost 2 did the same thing but I don't remember at what age she started waking up again, I think she was about 6-7 months old.  The doctor told me it was normal for them to relapse into waking up through out the night.

If it seems like she is in pain, has a fever or anything that might be a sign she is sick then I would call the doctor.  If she is just wanting to be held, pacifier put back in her mouth or fed them i wouldn't look too much into it.  Also, ( I think this might be why my son started waking up again) she might be teething.  My son just got his first tooth last week and his second one a few days later, ever since then he has went back to his regular sleep schedule 930 pm to 8-9 am.

It does get better I promise! :) Just hang in there.

  2. She might be having reflux problems.

    Take her to the doctor

  3. I went through this when my now 6 month old daughter was 5 months and when I asked about it on here, it seemed as though it is actually very common. It may be due to a growth spurt but hang in there. For us it lasted about a week before it gradually got better. She is now better than ever and sleeps 13 hours straight a night!

    Good luck

  4. A few reasons that come to mind for me is that may still be hungry and might need a few solid meals to help fill her up that little bit extra before bed. If you haven't started her on any solids start with a baby cereal like farex and either breast milk or formula. Give it to her early on in the day so if it gives her a little belly ache it's not keeping you up at night as well. If all goes well and after a few days of cereal and milk you can introduce pureed apples and the cereal for breakfast. If she shows no signs of an upset stomach you can give it to her at any time of the day and being that she is waking up of a night I would give it to her an hour or 2 before her bedtime bottle.

If it's definitely not hunger it may be that she has gotten herself into a habit of napping rather than sleeping soundly. My 4 month old is going through this at the moment during the day. He'll sleep for 30 mins and then wake up. My remedy for this is not to get him up but to tuck him back into his bed and rock him slightly until he has settled and then leave the room. I make sure I don't rock him back to sleep otherwise I'll be doing it at every sleep. It has generally worked, now I can expect him to sleep for an hour or 2 3 times a day rather than numerous times at 30 min intervals.

I hope I have helped slightly! Good luck and trust your instincts, she is trying to tell you something!
