What is wrong with my AEG Airsoft Gun?

ok.

so I was playing with my airsoft gun, and it was firing terribly, like every bb went no where.... but then all of a sudden it stopped firing.

i took a look at the battery, and I looked at it and there was a cut in the plastic coating, and the wires were a little strewn around, but not broken or anything.

when I pull the trigger, with/without the battery, it makes a small grinding noise, like there is something disconnected, but its an AEG, so that shouldnt mean anything.

I really dont know, but its an expensive gun, and this is the second one to randomly stop working.

do you think its a battery problem,or something internal?

if it helps you out, i can put a pic up too

  1. BB's going nowhere has nothing to do with the battery. It's related to the barrel and your hopup system.

Regarding your AEG no longer firing, probably a short circuit occured due to the cut of your wiring. Try fixing it with an electrical tape then check if your fuse is busted.

  2. Yeah I'm sorry to tell you but I would need to open it up to in order to know what exactly whats wrong. When you said it went no where do you mean its jammed? And if so did you continue firing? Because if thats the case the grinding noise might because you gears stripped, firing with a jammed rounds causes the gun to have a backward force because the air had nowhere to go and instead went straight back into your geabox then kept the piston in place with the gears still moving and just stripped all the gears. BUT I might be wrong, you have to give me more information because if your gears is stripped be ready to spend 30-40 bucks to replace it.

    Edit***

Actually is anything moving at all when the gun is plugged in with the battery, like the motor and all that when its plugged, I think I misunderstood what you meant by grinding.
