What is wrong with my LCD TV? The red light will not come on.?

I already unplugged the cord, blew on it, and replugged it in into the television couple of times and it still won't turn on. I also tried plugging it in into a different wall socket -- still doesn't work. The light that indicates whether or not my TV has power or not is not appearing.

The problem started with my accidentally unplugging the power cord while my TV was still on and now it won't even turn on anymore. What is wrong with my TV?

Please dont take this the wrong way because I do it at work all the time.....the plug is not in allll the way. The new Panasonic models have a clip on them and they are hard to put in so if they dont go in all the way it obviously wont turn on. I would try that. If it is in all the way the tvs power supply is blown and needs to be sent to service.
