What is wrong with my PS3??

Question

Somethings wrong with my PS3. The game icon is not showing up on the menu. I put in the COD4 game and the COD4 icon is not showing up. I thought it was just a bad disc, but i tried other games and none of them shows up on the menu. whats wrong? Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this problem?

to the asleep guy: ummm 360 uses a disc tray( totally last gen... even more primitive than wii!) and it falls out. ha!

but anyways yeah the laser might be broken. call sony and ask them for help

Whats wrong is tht your ps3 harddrive needs to cool off if tht dont work then flip ur ps3 over then turn it on then this dust will come out but dont hold upside down a long time then it will overheat if tht dont work then your ps3 overheated hopes tht helps you

Call sony,they will fix it for you and if you have your warranty they should fix it for a cheap price,and don't regret that you have bought a ps3 instead of a sh¡tbox 360,the sh¡tbox 360 burns alot and have a failure rate of 33%,so don't regret,just fix your ps3 and enjoy
