What is wrong with my TV?

Question

When I was watching TV last night the screen just went blank like the TV was off but the volume is still on. I've put it off and back on again but after about 2 seconds the same thing happens.

Its a Samsung 19" HD Ready. Got it christmas so it is not that old. Please does anyone know what is wrong with it.

its probably broke. send it away to get repaired

What I'm thinking is the cables in the back probably are not connected right. I'm talking about the red, yellow, and white cables. Make sure they are all plugged in all the way. Hope this helps!

sounds to me like ti might be broken!!

take it back and ask for a replacement

There is a strong possibilityty that the heater inside the CRT is out, due possibly to bad solder joint on neck board !

Oh that is assuming that you have a CRT type set of course !!

Check all the cables, make sure they are not loose. Then, call your cable company and talk to their tech support.

the inverter board is your problem,a chap on ebay will repair them.

Haven't a clue but if it's less than a year old then the shop should be able to help and if the problem can't be fixed they should replace it.
