What is wrong with my dishwasher please?

I switch it on and it sounds as if water is going in and then nothing happens.

The belt probably broke.

The timer could have went bad , it's made inside of the k**b, Try it again and when it stops sounding like water is running , then pull the k**b out and turn it just a little bit and see if it starts to work, by the way make sure the k**b is push in or pulled out which ever way it needs to be to run.
