What is wrong with my eye? (Almost blind in dark but normal in light)?

My left eye has been bothering me because I work on the computer (Its my job so I cant stop, and I do take breaks) and I stare at the computer for a long time. So I closed my LEFT eye to give it some rest and worked with only my RIGHT eye open for about 15 minutes. Im in my room where its light and I went out into the hall where its dark and I couldnt see a thing out of my right eye but my left eye, the one thats normally bothering me can see fine, Then I went back into my room where the light is on and could see fine out of my right eye. Whats going on? It doesnt hurt or itch so I dont think I strained it. Its my left eye that hurts and itches but I can see fine in the dark in my left.

It does not sound like anything I have ever heard of before. I think you should call your eye Doctor and maybe have a check up and talk to them about CVS; Computer VIsion Syndrom and see if there is anythnig that they might suggest for you
