What is wrong with my fan?

Question

i have this fan with metal blades i turned it on little bit ago u can hear the motor on but its barely moving is it broke or fixable

turn it off spin the blade by hand ,if it moves freely it probably has a bad capacitor ,it looks like a little box ,check the numbers and go to e-bay there is a guy on there who has all of them.,email him below ,tell him tholeeder sent you..............tom

I would imagine that it's just seized up .. try wd 40 .( spray wd  40 on the spindle to start with ) since your fan has metal blades best advised to keep hands and fingers free.. however if there is a way you can spin the blades with and object this would be your best bet for freeing it up
