She has very irregular periods, but not this irregular. She is 3 months late, but she has taken 3 pregnancy tests from the drug store of different brands, and they all say not pregnant, and she took them right in the morning. Right now she is having very bad lower abdominal pain, but no blood coming out of her, and if it was an ulcer, there is usually blood and upper stomach pain with her. Pepto-bismol isnt helping, and she doesnt have insurance so she doesnt want to go to the doctor yet. she has some antibiotics left, dunno if she should take them. Antacids didnt seem to help. I dont think if she was pregnant, it would hurt this much, as the pain is excruciating when she walks or moves quickly. She had diarrhea the first day, but not anymore. It hurts when she tries to go to the bathroom, but she is still able to. Whats wrong? Its been 3 days now and the pain hasnt gone away.

  1. She should go to a doctor. Who cares if she doesn't have insurance, her health is more important; if it's lasting this long, that doesn't sound good.

  2. She obviously needs to see a doctor.  Could be bad cramps or cancer.  Go to a DOCTOR

  3. I have no idea. The only thing that sound familiar is slight pain when urinating which could be a urinary tract infection, in which case SEE A DOCTOR, it can damage the kidney i think.

alot of lower abdomin pains... yeah uti, see a doctor soon.

try these to help with her comfort until then-

.Drink large amounts of water. It will help flush the bacteria out of your system (about 8 ounces an hour).

Put one teaspoon of baking soda in one-half cup of water once or twice a day.

Avoid caffeine, acid foods, spices, citrus fruits, tomatoes, alcohol, and chocolate. You may find these things increase your discomfort.

Drink cranberry juice cocktail. A study conducted on older women published in the Journal of the American Medical Association suggests that drinking cranberry juice cocktail may reduce the amount of bacteria in your urine.

Try hot water bottles or heating pads. They may ease your cramps and soothe the pain.

  4. There could be many different things wrong with her. Hard to say. Look up a free clinic in your area. Call them in the morning, they should be able to get her in. These go on a sliding scale. And most of the time she will have to pay very little less the 20.00 are nothing.  Get her to go. If they believe something is really wrong then they will tell her to go to the Er.

  5. She needs to get to the doctor.Pronto. she may  have a certain bacteria in  her uterus witch can effect with diarrhea and through-ing up.

  6. There could be so many things happening.  Just a few that come to mind are bladder or kidney infection, scar tissue on her ovaries, STD, IBS, etc.  I understand not being able to afford a Dr but has your friend considered a public health clinic?  They are charged based on a sliding scale and can even be free depending on income.  I definitely suggest your friend see someone immediately so that a small easily correctible problem doesn't become a serious problem because she waited too long to go to the Dr.  Also, I would check out Medicaid and see if she qualifies for assitance or anything they can offer (a lot of states require hospitals to "donate" a certain amount of money to people by writing off their bills.)  No amount of cost of a Dr's appt is worth risking the kind of problems she could face if she continues to not have herself taken care of!  Wish her the best of luck!

  7. it would be sensible to just go to the doctor

  8. dude... that happends to me too!

    and i havent had s*x...

    or have i been prgnant.

    and the bad pains are

    cramps.

im going to a doctor soon

and i think your friend should too.
