After baking for about 20 mins. my oven will cut off and I have to keep hitting the panel to try to get it back on. Sometimes it will come back on and bake for a while and then cut off again. Can any tell me what the problem is. I have the manual (model JGRS06 but it tells me nothing about this problem. Help please. Cannot afford a new one at this time

  1. When the ignitor gets weak it takes longer to ignite.

When the thermostat satisfies it shuts off the burner and when in needs to come back on it takes too long and the temp. fluctuates.

You should be able to see the orange glow of the ignitor near the burner when it tries to light.

Could also be the thermostat but is usually the ignitor or gas valve.

  2. The MVV burner needs cleaning

  3. It sound like the thermo couplin is faulty and wont keep the gas value open.
