What is wrong with my hamster??

today i heard my hamster squeaking 3 times in one day..i checked the last time it squeaked because it was getting louder and louder but when i checked i noticed she is bleeding from her vaginia area ...I cant go to the vet becuase my mom dont believe i should go to a vet because of my hamster..but what could possibly be wrong with my hamster if it is bleeding from her vaginia

she could be hot.

put her somewhere else and sometimes they squeak when they sneeze and yeh..

It might be something serious, do you know if you have any other hamsters and if shes pregnant?

I would convince your mum and get her to look at your hamster to see what your talking about,

the vets is your best option.

I am not sure but my other hamster had this yellow stuff coming from her vag.. she died the next hour. BUT you should take her to the vet... ASAP!

It could be that your hamster has "wet tail" or diarrhea.  The vet could give you medicine for that.  I know a vet can be expensive, I recently took my gerbil to the exotic animal vet because she had a cyst, but now she is happy and  healthy.  It's part of being a responsible pet owner.  Can you do chores around the house to pay off the vet bill??

Please take her to a vet immediately, she needs medication and professional help.

Female hamsters do not have periods and therefore do not suffer from "bleeding". The maximum they may have is slight "spotting" sometimes noticeable in the bedding.

The blood is probably from the urinary tract or anal region. Since they are all located very closely, it is difficult to say where the blood is coming from.

Blood from the urinary tract - This could mean an urinary tract infection(UTI). Consult a vet and obtain a hamster-safe antibiotic such as Baytril or Albon. Note that if bleeding occurs again after the course of antibiotics, it could mean that there is an internal cyst in one of the hamster's internal organs. Consult a vet again to have the hamster examined.

Blood from the hamster's a**s - This could be a result of feeding too much wet food such as fruits or vegetables. Cut down on those foods and take her to a vet for medication. If after a week you see no improvement, make an appointment with a hamster-experienced vet again as this continued bleeding could point to something more serious such as a tumor in the intestinal tract.

If she's not pregnant, she could have eaten something.  I've heard that eating red toys turns the urine a red color, so if you didn't see her bleeding, then it might be that.

Other than that, she could have biten herself.  She have a type of infection that itches and she might be biting herself to itch it.
