Question:

What is wrong with my head?

About a few months ago, I began feeling a sharp pain in a certain part of my head that only lasted about a minute. It usually happened in school during certain classes. Now, the pain is all over the back and side of my head, and even sometimes in my ears, throat, back of my neck, and rarely my chest. I'm afraid if it might be a tumor in my head, but I'm feeling a bit more positive because I was told you have a brain tumor if your eyes are sensitive to light, which mine aren't.

It started off as bad headaches, which I took Advil for. It helped, but then the headaches began to get worse as the months went by. My mom said it might have been migraines, since she gets them and it runs in her family. I thought it was at first, but the pain comes every single day. Some nights I can't sleep right because if I lay my head down, certain areas begin to hurt really bad and I feel light-headed and dizzy. If I run, my head hurts and I get a little dizzy. If I move my head around too much, it hurts even more. I called the doctor and I have an appointment in two weeks, but for now, I'm just wondering if anyone can help me out.
