What is wrong with my heelflip?!?!?!?!

What is wrong with my heelflip????? I've tried almost everything and I can't seem to land it. When I jumped higher with my backfoot after forming it, it went exactly behind me. But whenever I usually form a heelflip, my front foot lands on the board with my backfoot beside the board. Also, when i tried popping the board and shooting my front foot forward of me, it did the same thing and i landed on my front foot again. I REALLY need help because I'm starting to quit flip tricks since I can't land a heelflip and everyone keeps saying it's easy to land it.

  1. You have to get use to catching the board in the air but if you havnt landed a kickflip yet your probably not gonna land a heelflip becuase after mastering the ollie your use to the board staying on your feet but when fliping the board you have to pull your feet up out the way and come down.

You have to stop the flip the flip doesn't stop for you.      This might sound wierd but just think about wat it mean and.     Need top answer

  2. i have problems with heelflips 2. when i do mine, instead of looking where im going, like ahead of where the board's moving, i face my body and keep my head looking in the direction of the flip. keep your back foot closer to the end opposite the flip, as if youre going to do a varial heel. put your front foot around the center of the board, maybe a little closer to the front with about half of your foot hanging off. contrary to a kickflip where you kick up and out, a heelflip just kick out. straight out. get a good pop and kick straight out and if ur feet are positioned like i said it should flip directly under you.

  3. try leaning forward, or wen u jump, jump forward

  4. Heelflips are like my trick, When you do them you looking down with most of your weight in front of you. To prevent to board from going behind you keep your weight centered over the board. and not in front of you.

Idk if it helped you but i hope it does

  5. from my point of view your problem is that your not staying centeredwith the board make sure that you slide your foot up to form it or it will do weird variations. well since you can form it all you have to do is stay centered. and you will land perfect. another reason why u cant is your attitude if your ready to quit your not a skater. practice, determination, and knowing what u do is what it takes.

i've skated for less than a year and i can casper, hospital flip, hard flip, 1/2 cab, and tre flips. those are my best tricks! do u think someone can learn stuff like that with out trying really hard and practiceing everyday ?! you can do it if u believe in yourself.

try harder. luck bro. never give up. dont be afraid!
