  1. Perhaps she feels like you should be getting more done in the 5 hours? It seems like she shouldn't focused on the time you spend on your work. She should give you tasks to complete and you should manage your time.

You should talk to her or talk to your parents. It's normal to have some disagreements with your teachers, but perhaps this teacher doesn't work well with someone of your level so maybe you could find another teacher.

If you're going to approach her, just tell her that you feel like she's frustrated with you and ask her to explain why. Or explain a specific concern. But don't tell you feel like she doesn't want to do well or something like that. Either way, if she gets upset when you are successful, then I question if she's a good fit for you as a teacher.

  2. I think you two need to sit down and have a talk about expectations-she needs to tell you why she is pushing you so hard, and you need to tell HER how you feel you will perform best. A CALM environment would be best for this talk and hopefully you both can walk away with new expecations and new goals to make your homeschool experience and fun and beneficial as it can be.

    Good luck sweetie!

  3. It does not sound like you're homeschooling (you'd have a parent as a teacher).  It sounds like you are getting home*bound* education from your school (for some reason - behavior, health, etc).

If you are doing this with a public school, then 5 hours/day *is* required if that's what B&M school kids do.  You cannot look at your state's homeschooling laws and compare them, because you're *not* homeschooling (which is a private school in most state).

You need to talk to your parents, who, in turn, need to speak to the teacher and/or the principal of the school.  From your attitude and use of foul language, I assume that you were booted out of your B&M school for behavior.  Doing homebound is the way for the school to keep you on track.

  4. Don't worry I like you

  5. Since you were finishing your work early, she probably expected you to continue for the remainder of the five hours and get MORE done, since obviously you were capable of it.

Why do you have a homeschool teacher? Are you homebound, or could your parents afford to hire a tutor? Most homeschoolers I know do traditional homeschooling where there is no teacher. Just mom and dad.
