ok so here's the thing..My ipod was connected to my computer then, when i pulled the usb of the ipod from the computer, the screen of my ipod is showing the apple symbol over and over again. Its like it is turning on and off over and over. Whats wrong with it?? How can it be fixed?? Is this very serious?? Will files inside the my ipod possibly be erased?

My ipod has been like this for alomost 11 hours now and i am getting worried..i tried connecting it again from the computer but nothing happened. The battery became empty then i charged but the screen is still the same!

I hope you can help me..

(I did not use itunes here, just winamp so there are no eject notices and stuff.)

  1. I had the same thing happen to me. Will it act normal if you keep it plugged into an ac power source??

  2. Try holding down the menu and the middle button down together at the same time for a few seconds, then keep switching the hold button from side to side, this should bring up the menu screen. This is the reseting thing i do with my ipod when it freezes sometimes and it works perfectly fine after that. I don't think your files will be lost from your ipod, unless you pulled it out when it was syncing songs to the ipod. Hope this works for you!!

  3. id format it in the system files

its recognized as a device in your computer try to reformat from there and use the program they recommend that's why its there
