What is wrong with my kitty Cat?

my cat keeps making jerking movements. She's awake and not dreaming. Could she have the hiccups or is it something worse?

Hmm, It might be the hiccups. But to make sure go to a vet and see if its not sick.

Have you recently put a store bought flea medication or collar on her, if so that is the problem and she should see the vet ASAP. If not it could be "normal behavior" or it could be worse hard to really tell. If it really seems to affect her or your really concerned or if it gets worse you can take her to the vet for observation. Good luck, I hope its nothing.

She may have a seizure problem. She may be dreaming but when you come over you wake her and that's why shes awake

but if you KNOW shes awake and jerking like that taker to the vet and explain the problem

This is a pretty crazy guess, but, I think your kitten has the Parkinson disease! It's very painful! It makes your kitten have uncontrolable jerking movements! Now don't get scared! I may not be right!
