I am having troubles with my left knee. It feels very weak and uncomfortable. When I pop my knee (extend it quickly) it feels very good. I have been popping my knee for about 1 year, but recently my knee has felt weaker for some reason. It just feels uncomfortable and weak. I'm not sure exactly what is causing this. I have been doing leg extensions, i'm active, i play basketball, i run, etc. What is causing the weakness, wierd feeling? Is it the constant popping? There is no pain. Please help

  1. Drink plenty of milk. It worked for me.

  2. You may have accidentally subluxated your knee joint, which means that it may have gotten temporarily dislocated (then the joint pops back into place) . The sensation ranges from discomfort to pain, depending on the extent of the dislocation that occurred.

The weakness of the knee is likely caused by some tendinous or ligament damage that occured during subluxation.

Lesson learned: don't pop your knee again, you might just end up hurting yourself even worse.
