Question:

What is wrong with my nipple ring?

I got them both pierced in April, they were healing pretty good and then this flesh colored bubble looking thing popped up on one side above the hole. It went away and keeps coming back. It was on the other nipple once but went away and hasn't come back. Is it infected or something? Any info is greatly appreciated.

  1. im not professional or anything, but to me it seems infected! saline solution should be good to start off with, check if that works and if not, some peroxide to drain it out.

  2. No peroxide and DON'T take them out!

    It's just hypertrophic scarring!  = )

A little tea tree oil a few times a day should fix them in about a week or 2.

  3. Maybe it was the material used to put the ring on your nipples. Im no doctor or anything but i think u should go see a doctor to see if it is serious or anything

  4. Sounds like an allergic reaction. Don't wear them for 2 weeks and if it doesn't come back, you'll know.
