What is wrong with my period? ?

Hey guys.. I started my period for the first time on July 23rd 2008.. I was suppose to start my second one on August 20th 2008, but i'm not a regular yet so it was late.. Today is the 29th of August, and i'm not sure if i started my period yet.. This morning a put a pad just in case i did, and when i went to the bathroom, the bad was filled with like this really dark brown stuff.. Its just like blood but it's reallly dark, almost black ! It looks so gross ! And i had to change my pad 2 times cause i had so much.. I'm not sure if it's blood or not, it looks like it, but it's way to dark.. Seriously it's almost black !! Can anyone tell what this is? Thanks soooo much !

yeah dont worry, totally normal.and you wont get a regular cycle for up to two years, so dont worry if ur period is ever late.

You are fine. Blood from your period will not always be red.  It is usually more brownish, plus the pad can make it appear darker.

Maybe you should see a doctor cuz that sounds really dark to be blood.

ok. didnt need that much detail, but its kk^^ the first couple days of your period will be really heavy most of the time (a lot of blood). Its normal. Oh, and its not just blood, maybe you should read up on it a bit. You are actually shedding the lining of your uterus everytime you have a period.

usually at the begining of ur period u get that untile like the second day when it regulates and then starts to look like blood. its normal

Well your first few periodes arn't gonna be the bright red blood as you imagened it so its completley normal
