What is wrong with my pocketbike ????

i have a pocketbike witch is kind of like a mini bike or dirtbike . For some reason it won't start . It can start but you have to be really stong to do it . No matter how hard i pull the pull start it won't acctually start up . I am not that nollegable about this kind of stuff , but i though maybe that the pull start needed to be replaced or something ? Any answers are greatly appreciated . I want to ride it again so bad lol .

try using the choke... is that dosent work, then you may need to start some diagnosis, an internal combustion engine has to have 3 things in order to start up.. compression, spark, fuel (and of course a non-damaged engine system) start the process of elimination bud! good luck! ohh and try some fresh gas if it has been sitting a while you may need to freshen up a bit..
