i own and albino kingsnake he is around 6years old. we feed him the right amount and he have a big tank and plenty of warmth, but at least once a week he will bite himself and sometimes start to swallow his own tail and we have to get him off. when we are holding him he is fine. we took him to the vets and the vet didnt no what was wrong he didnt have any motes or anything like that. he gave us some antibiotics to inject into pickys. we did this and his cuts healed but now he has done it again i am really worried. some one said maybe he has brain damage from when he was born.

please help!!!!!

  1. it has died.......... hahahaha hehehehe hohohoho

  2. I think he does not know it is his tail and thinks it is a smaller snake and tries to eat the "smaller snake".  just like dogs they chase there tail and never can get it but if they do(my dog can) they bite on it and heep chasin it.  maybe your friend is right or maybe he is half dog1 lol!

  3. I suggest you ask a breeder. They should know all the quirks if a kingsnake. You can find one on kingsnake.com
