I'm in 7th place out of 8. I can't find a problem. So you tell me. Where is my problem? Where can I improve?

  1. one problem is at 1st base, no consistency there. you have two good 2nd baseman and should look to trade one of them.  no real RBI guy in the OF.  mclouth is an excellent hitter but he hits a lot of leadoff and his rbi chances decrease do to this.  same goes for soriano.

i would look to trade one of your 2nd baseman. maybe soto, i know he is a good hitter but he has been hitting the skids pretty good over the last month and change.  he could bring something useful if paired up with one of those 2nd baseman and could be replaced pretty cheaply with a guy like shoppach off the wire.  trade soriano if possible for a guy who can drive in some runs. try to pair him up with a pitcher and go for a guy like carlos lee who is an rbi machine.  your assets in the staff should bring you some good hitting in return if you propose some trades.

  2.    There needs to be more info to your question.  It could be numerous of reason why there is no improvement.  Is everyone on your team a team player or are they in for their own glory?  Have your coach tried different positions for each member?  Is this team supportive of each other or are they constantly bickering at one another?  Do you have regular practices with majority attendance? What are their skill levels?   These are just starter questions............    I was on a winning fast pitch softball team for eight years. It was the time of my life.  We all got along with each other, had fun together, and embraced any new members with open arms.  And out of everyone my skill level was the worst.  I had to work the hardest (on my own time) to be part of this team.  This was pressure on myself and not from the team. ....... As for you,  you should know where your weaknesses are.  Have someone you look up to as a roll model in baseball work with you on your weaknesses.  Work on his/her suggestions on your own if you can.  Most of all try to enjoy your game and teammates and sometimes that in itself can make it a winning team no matter what place it is in......If all else fails and you're still not satisfied, move on to another team.

  3. Offense,There are not enough Hitters for average.Dont start your back ups when your regulars arent playing.Example I wouldnt want Alex Gordons stats on Brauns Days off.Gordans numbers an d lack of average defeat Brauns numbers. The same problem with upton for Kinsler. If it was I Im tarding Hardy,Gordan,BJ Upton and these other decent back ups I have for studs like Reyes,Braun,Kinsler.Your pitching staff has terrible ERA ans WHIP.True killers of a pitching staff.I would keep Sheets,Lackey and Kazmir Kevin Gregg and Kerry Wood.Street has a terrible whip and era.I would trade the back ups and get some ace pitchers.Pitchers that get k's and have a low whip and era.Trade JJ Hardy while he is hot.Get CC SABATHIA,Johan Santana a second half stud,Lincecum,Peavy.Im am sure that Hardy,Upton,Drew and Damon are good trade bait.Get a better 1st baseman while your shopping.

  4. What league settings do you have?

Is it a basic R, HR, RBI, SB, BA, W, K, SV, ERA, WHIP?

If so, try picking up Joakim Soria or Salomon Torres to help with the SVs and maybe Ks, certainly ERA and WHIP.  See what's in FA for 2B, too.  Maybe Mark Ellis or Kelly Johnson...
