What is wrong with my wife?

Question

I just finally got on disability since I'm tired of working.

But she needs to keep her job (or get a better one) so I can keep my standard of living.

I don't understand why she's so grouchy all the time.

When she comes home, she complains about making dinner.

If I go play poker with the guys with my SS check she goes through the roof.

Doesn't a guy deserve a night out with the guys every once and a while?

She sees people all day at work!

All I can do is watch TV or look at internet p**n.

The house is always messy, because she says after working overtime for 12 hours I should help out.

I'm disabled, I can't work! Doesn't she get it???

If you were "tired fo working " as you put it it dosent mean you cant work?? Am I right?? If you do have something physically or mentally keeping you from being able to work thats one thing then I would understand why. However I think your wife has every right to be upset if your not helping out around the house, especially if theres nothing really wrong. And if you got SS just cuz your tired of working something is wrong with that system cuz Ive known people that truly need it and couldnt get it cuz of others playing the system!!!!

don't use that as your way out. I am sure your hands can still pick up things. You should be helping her out if she is the one working. Alot of people get disability that do not need it and are just plan lazy... I sure hope your not one of them if so I feel sorry for your wife

I have a disability and I have to still go to work because despite the fact that holding a job is extraordinarily difficult for me, I was basically told that since it doesn't kill me to do it I'm not allowed to receive disability benefits.

Please don't take advantage of the system.  I'm not accusing you, just asking you to not if you are.

First of all, you say that you are not working because you are "tired of working" instead of unable to work. What exactly is your disability?

Of course she is going to be grouchy when she works 12 hour shifts and comes home to a sloppy messy husband who has been doing nothing but looking at p**n all day (disrespectful of her) expects HER to make dinner and then wants to leave and hang out with "the guys"!

Get a clue and try to make her horrible h**l of a life a tiny bit less sucky. If you don't stop your terrible attitude, she is going to leave your disabled ***.

Just because you are disabled doesn't mean you should stop taking cherishing, protecting, and taking good care of your wife. When was the last time you did something to show your gratitude for all she does for you? Or something romantic? My guess is not any time recently.

omg! it's because she's doing all the work. your sitting at home doing nothing...yet she has to come home and cook dinner? that's not exactly and even amount of responsibilities. why don't you take your ss check and buy and cook dinner.
