What is wrong with one of my TVs ?

It comes on for a few seconds...good picture and sound, and then it shuts off???

Same thing happens when I put the DVD in the player..shuts off after a few second???

is it a new TV like a sumsung? if it is you might have lost the firite that comes with the TV, the firite should come in a little bag that says "accessories".

or..... it could just be the tubes in the TV. if the tubes are wearing out a sign if this would be... you would slowly start losing colors on your t.v. that is most likely to be the problem and if it is then its time to get a new t.v.
