What is wrong with.......?

Question

Giving an opinion (as this is what this site is for!!) in relation to a question asked by a confused pregnant mother.

But giving a support opinion and not actually telling her things like adoption is no good! Dont you reckon that she should be able to go and get support without adoptees on here jumping in with the whole "dont do it" "it will ruin the childs life"

How is that right. but telling her to get support is frowned upon?

I think I may be guilty. As a bmom, I have lived with the decision that I made to give my baby up. I know first hand how it can affect your life and I'd like to spare other young women this pain. It doesn't get easier as the years go by, it just gets different. Reunion saved my life.

I think that it is critically important that the adoptee's voice be heard here.  It is ignored by agencies.

I don't know what question you're refering to. But if someone asks a question on yahoo questions, they're going to get opinions of any kind. This site isn't moderated by yahoo mods, only by the viewers, and its pretty much open house to answer however they want and say whatever they want.

some ppl think they know it all!!! that their way is the right way!!!! well it might be for them but not for others! they should learn to hold their tongue with sensitive issues like that! this is a persons life and feelings they are slating. tact!!!! that's what they need!

Why is adoption bad?  There are a lot good people out there that can not have children of their own.  I have adopted twice and love my babies.

THANK YOU for this question.  

I feel frustrated with that issue as I've gotten many thumbs down for my opinions that are pro-adiotion related.  But, you know what- it's their opinion and we have to respect that.  They feel strongly about their opinions and probably for good reasons.  I just try to learn from them...  as I am adoptive Mom and what if my son came to me with one of those questions or issues or attitudes?  I want to be there for him so, I will stay in here and continue getting thumbs down but I'll also learn alot.  I hope I am making sense.  (?)

Aren't you taking the same stance that they are by complaining about their opinions/answers?

Some people have a mightier then thou outlook or think their opinion is the only correct answer to a problem.....there's nothing wrong though
